CHURCH

The Church of San Jaime and Santa Ana is a church located in the old town of Benidorm, next to the Castle. It was built between 1740 and 1780 after the discovery of the Virgin of Suffrage, patron saint of Benidorm.

HISTORY OF BENIDORM

It is a temple with a Latin cross plan with a central nave and small side chapels. In one of them is the chapel of the Virgen del Sufragio. In the choir rests a large pipe organ built in 2012 by the Acítores house, which was inaugurated during the Patron Saint Festivities of the same year. In its interior the most important religious festivities of Benidorm are celebrated, such as the Festes Majors Patronals, Easter or the Festivity of Sant Jaume and Santa Ana, the parish's patron saints.

WORTH IT

Small church located in the highest part of Benidorm, next to the Mirador del Mediterraneo, just for the large number of Gaia and small altars is worth a visit.
